Strength & Conditioning
Aerial training and all aerial skills require a basic degree of strength when you're starting out, and the more complex your moves become the more strength and body awareness that is required.
These group classes are designed to build the fitness and strength required for aerial apparatus, and to focus on the muscle groups that aerialists require to safely and competently perform their moves.
Rope, Static Trapeze and groundwork skills are all incorporated into the hour long class. Using your own body weight and with partner assistance where required, you can build the strength and body condition to be the best aerialist you can be.
From a general health aspect: strength training provides significant benefits and improvement in health and well-being including increased bone, muscle, tendon and ligament strength and toughness, improved joint function, reduced potential for injury, increased bone density, increased metabolism, increased fitness and improved cardiac function - and it's fun!
